Event Details
Phantom Siita, Japanese five-piece idol group known for their retro-horror concept produced by iconic singer and superstar Ado, is excited to announce their world tour Phantom Siita 1ST WORLD TOUR ‘Moth to a flame,’ just over six months after their debut. The big announcement was revealed on the stage of legendary Nippon Budokan today during their solo concert Phantom Siita 1st LIVE 2024 ‘Haine.’ ‘Moth to a flame’ tour, the group’s first-ever tour (and a world tour!), kicks off in Taipei in January 2025 and spans 15 cities, marking it as a large-scale world tour for a new idol group. The tour includes a stop at San Jose Civic, Tuesday, January 28. Phantom Siita’s leap onto the world stage—just two and a half months after releasing their debut album, “Girlhood Memories”—is definitely a must see.
“Our first world tour ‘Moth to a flame’ has been announced,” said Phantom Siita. “While this is a venture into the unknown for us, we hope to reach everyone around the world who always supports us. We’re excited to showcase our ‘retro horror’ style to you all.”
“Phantom Siita’s 1st world tour has been announced,” said Ado. “I think it’s quite rare for a group’s first tour to be a world tour, both as idols and as artists. Please look forward to their bold and unconventional beginning of their artistry.
The tour title “Moth to a flame” symbolizes the fans who are irresistibly drawn to Phantom Siita. Although some may consider it risky for the group to take on the world stage less than a year after their debut, the title reflects the idea that, even knowing of the potential risks, fans are still drawn to Phantom Siita, like moths to a flame.”
Tickets for the San Jose Civic performance are available via Ticketmaster, Friday, November 8, at 9AM.
Phantom Siita is a 5-piece idol group produced by a Japanese superstar Ado. If modern-day idols were 'butterflies,' Phantom Siita would be a heretical presence in the industry akin to 'moths.' 5 members (Mona, Miu, Rinka, Hisui, and Moka) won their spots in the group through an audition with over 4,000 participants. Their debut single “Otomodachi” was featured on Spotify’s “Idol Pop Japan” playlist cover and sparked a trend on TikTok, with many dance videos being uploaded. The music video of their 2nd single “Just Wanna ×××× With You,” released in July 2024, surpassed 1 million views in less than a month with many comments from international fans. Phantom Siita also appeared as the opening act for Ado’s nationwide arena tour Ado JAPAN TOUR 2024 ‘Profile of Mona Lisa’ this summer, performing in front of huge crowd at arenas in major Japanese cities. On Nov. 1, they held their first solo concert, Phantom Siita 1st LIVE 2024 ‘Haine’ at the legendary Nippon Budokan.

“Phantom Siita’s 1st world tour has been announced. I think it’s quite rare for a group’s first tour to be a world tour, both as idols and as artists,” said Ado. “The title, ‘Moth to a flame,’ is the English equivalent of the Japanese saying “飛んで火に入る夏の虫” (like a moth to a flame). Some might draw a parallel between its meaning of knowingly stepping into danger and the group’s current situation, but Phantom Siita is the kind of true idol group that fans can’t help but reach out to, even knowing the risks. So perhaps the one flying into the flame is you, watching from the other side of the screen. Please look forward to their bold and unconventional beginning of their artistry.”
